One of Jeff's first jobs out of film school was as a Production Assistant on Martin Scorsese's "Cape Fear", a job he will be forever grateful for. While making short films, Jeff worked as an assistant at International Creative Management and at Columbia/Tri-Star. Jeff worked as a commercial and television director, directing on such shows as "The Simple Life," "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge," and "Jennifer Lopez's Dancelife," before writing, producing and directing his first feature film ("Killer Movie"). "Killer Movie" (stars Paul Wesley, Kaley Cuoco, Leighton Meester, Robert Buckley, Jason London and Nestor Carbonell) premiered at last year's Tribeca Film Festival followed by a short theatrical release, successful DVD and Blu Ray release and a run on Showtime. Jeff attended the University of Florida and Columbia College of Chicago's film program.
Killer Movie tells the story of a reality television shoot that goes awry when its crew finds itself stranded in a remote Northern town. A killer is on the loose, stalking cast and crew members one by one. As past suspicions, betrayals and secrets inexplicably come into play, the nightmare of shooting this reality show becomes all too real for Jake, the show's director, his crew and Hollywood starlet Blanca Champion.
